Tromsø 2014 R2 : surprises !

This second round delivered some surprises and unexpected results !!

The most unexpected one is the draw between Ukraine and the B-team of Norway! Ivanchuk lost his game against Frode Urkedal in very strange game where black looks fine until a bad trade of queen versus 2 rooks.

Another unexpected result is the draw between Finland and Norway 1. All games were draws  and Magnus Carlsen was not able to put in danger Tomi Nyback (2591)

Armenia managed to win the match against Australia, but Levon Aronian (2805) only drawn against David Smerdon (2513)

Russia won easily his match against Qatar, but Nepomniachtchi was not able to win against Hamad Al-Tamini (2186) !

Hungary, with a much higher rated team was close to a big surprise agains Venezuela. Tichard Rapport (2704) lost his game agains Juan Armando Rohl Montes (2390)

In the next round, there will be already a big clash between France and Armenia.
